Over the last ten years, the poverty rate in our District has gone up, not down. Our median income has gone down, not up. This is wrong. We need jobs. Good-paying jobs. Jobs that pay a living wage…and more. No one working full time should be living below the poverty line.

Mary is committed to bringing jobs to our District. To tying minimum wage jobs to the cost of living. To supporting unions so workers can exercise their right to join. And to finding solutions for affordable childcare and seniorcare so working people don’t have to choose between family and job.

How? By working with other elected officials — municipal and state — to offer incentives for companies to locate in Pennsylvania. By advocating for small business owners.  By expanding the “Made in PA” program.
